That Charles Leclerc will be in action this weekend with his third control electronics (maximum two allowed per season) of the year we already knew, but the Ferrari driver has had some additional engine parts replaced in Saudi Arabia, although presumably not because anything else is broken. The grid penalty remains 'just' 10 places.

Indeed, Leclerc will also drive at the Jeddah circuit with a new MGU-H and a new internal combustion engine (ICE). Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris will also be in action this weekend with their second internal combustion engine. In a season, you are allowed to install a new ICE a maximum of three times, so they do not face a grid penalty. Norris, incidentally, will also drive with a new turbo a new MGU-H.

Sergio Perez has also received some new engine components for his RB19. Max Verstappen's teammate will use his second control electronics and his second battery at the second Grand Prix of the year. No grid penalty for the Mexican either.
