Max Verstappen's dominance should be a lot less in Saudi Arabia than in Bahrain. So says the Red Bull Racing driver to Sky Sports. The Dutchman explains why Ferrari will be strong at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit.
Verstappen explains exciting race prediction
In Bahrain, Verstappen did not drive at full speed to victory, leading people to expect Sergio Perez and his teammate to show much more in the coming weekends. Verstappen says it's not like that: "If you look at Bahrain, from the straight-line speed, I think Ferrari were quickest. Here you have a lot of straights and fast corners."
Verstappen seems wary of Ferrari's speed. Verstappen continued: "Tyre deg is less of an issue. in Bahrain, you are doing two or sometimes three stops, here it is straight forward one-stop so everyone can push more on the tyres. That's why I expect everyone to be quite a bit closer."
