The future of Red Bull Racing and AlphaTauri seems assured. Things have changed within Red Bull's top ranks since Dietrich Mateschitz's death, but for the time being this has not affected the F1 teams.

Mateschitz was the major driving force behind Red Bull's F1 project. The Red Bull founder had a good relationship with Helmut Marko and embarked on an ambitious project with him and Christian Horner. This has been very successful, with already five constructors' titles and six drivers' titles for Sebastian Vettel and Max Verstappen. For now, Red Bull also remains active in F1.

Red Bull remains in F1

''Everything is developing very positively, everyone who claims otherwise is talking complete nonsense,'' Marko told the Kleine Zeitung about the talks with the new Red Bull chief executive, Oliver Mintzlaff. ''Of course there's a difference when you've only been working together for three months and not for 30 years.''

Even under Mintzlaff's leadership, the F1 project seems to be a priority and the relationship is therefore very good, according to Marko. There remains confidence in the project from both sides, and as long as Verstappen and Red Bull continue to win so much, it also seems unreal that Red Bull will exit. Especially considering a whole new factory in Milton Keynes has just been set up for the Red Bull Powertrains.
