Mercedes appoints former Red Bull chief as senior advisor

After the strong years at Mercedes, Red Bull knew where to look for good staff. The team led by Christian Horner lured many staff away from Mercedes to Red Bull. According to Autosport.com in Poole's case, it goes the other way round. The former HR director and COO of Red Bull is now a consultant at Mercedes.

She will work closely with Wolff and will review Mercedes' current infrastructure wherever possible. She will also voice her advice on the financial side of the organisation and help with the team's efforts to stay under the budget cap. Poole has long been part of Red Bull and has been involved in the team's resurgence in battle with Mercedes in recent years. Now, the consultant gets to fight the battle again from the other side in the pit lane.
