A unique opportunity for collectors: the car Alfa Romeo showed during the launch of the C43 will be auctioned. This is the first time in the history of Formula 1. A side note: this is a show model and therefore cannot be driven.

Alfa Romeo auctions off show model C43

This is the very first chassis produced by Alfa Romeo for the new C43, with which the team will compete in the F1 season. The car features plate signed by Valtteri Bottas and Guanyu Zhou. This is the first time a show model that was used at a launch has been made available to the public.

Bidding started at £31,000, but the highest bid stands at £71,000 at the time of writing. That amount is expected to rise considerably, as people still have two weeks to bid. The safe runs until 21 February and can be found on the website F1 Authentics.

As a bonus, the winning bidder will receive the racing overalls and boots that Bottas and Zhou wore during the unveiling. These official racing outfits will also be signed by the driver duo.
