Max Verstappen is making a stunning impression in Formula 1 this racing year. The Dutchman already took the world title at the Japanese Grand Prix a few weeks ago, grabbing victory two seasons in a row. He also wrote another three records to his name in 2022.

With his victory in Japan, he became the first Dutchman ever to take two Formula 1 world titles. Verstappen then grabbed two more records in Mexico. For instance, he is the driver with the most wins in one season, while he also has the largest number of points ever.

Successful start to F1 career

The Red Bull Racing driver managed to secure his first two records back in 2015. Back then still employed by Toro Rosso, he was the youngest driver ever to take part in a Formula 1 race. In addition, in the same season, he was the youngest driver ever to score a World Cup point.

Verstappen continued his career at Red Bull in 2016, where he accounted for four new records. At the GP of Spain, he was the youngest ever leader in a Formula 1 race, the youngest winner and the youngest driver on a podium in the motorsport class.
