Carlos Sainz was surprised to find himself one hundredth behind Lando Norris in the second free practice session of the Hungarian Grand Prix, whereas he was fastest in the first session. The Spaniard lost his feeling with the car a little, but looks back on a good day.

Ferrari seems to be the team to beat in Hungary. The twisty Budapest circuit, the Hungaroring, is ideal for the F1-75 of Charles Leclerc and Sainz. Red Bull Racing fears the pace of the Italian team and thinks there is little to be gained in dry conditions. On Saturday it is likely to rain heavily, which will shuffle the cards and allow Ferrari to be attacked.

Sainz happy with interesting Friday

Sainz thought it was an interesting Friday: "The car felt good when we came out of the garage in FP1. We were able to drive strong laps. In FP2 we tried a few set-up changes to see which way we can go for tomorrow and for the race. We lost the feeling a bit, but we have a good car in terms of setup and pace. It looks like it will be wet tomorrow, so we have to adapt to the conditions. Today was a positive day for the team. I'm looking forward to the rest of the weekend."
