Prost walks back earlier Ferrari-predictions!

Formula One legend Alain Prost has admitted that his comments about Ferrari from before the season started were completely wrong, as Ferrari have been way better than the Frenchman thought.

Prost predicted that Ferrari would be behind both Red Bull and Mercedes this season, but the prancing horse reigns supreme. 

"Last year I was wrong too, when I thought that Ferrari were late to adapt to developments to other teams," Prost told FormulaPassion.

"During the winter break, it looked like Mercedes and Red Bull had made bigger steps than the Italians, but that proved to be wrong.

A takes a man to admit that he's wrong. 

The main improvements from Ferrari have come from Kimi Raikkonen's improved form, as well as the engine simply being better.

"Last year, Ferrari were all about the little adjustments to the chassis, and now it's the engine that's their main weapon.

"And of course Kimi, who forces Vettel to push that little bit more.
