With these updates, Mercedes hopes to move further forward at GP Miami

After four difficult weekends in which Mercedes managed to score better than it was actually capable of, the team introduced a package of major updates for the first time in Miami.
The German racing stable has brought a new rear wing aimed at reducing drag. The part is also said to be lighter than its predecessors, as apart from the major problems with porpoising, Mercedes' W13 is still too heavy.
Russell calls updates Mercedes 'not a panacea'
In addition, new end plates have been added to the front wing. These too should reduce drag, without affecting downforce.
Mercedes hopes that the updates will help to find a solution to the problems with porpoising, among others, but according to George Russell it is only a small step in the right direction. "I don't think its a silver bullet, but it will give us a direction to take for the coming weeks and months. It gives us confidence that we might be able to solve our issues in coming races," said the Mercedes driver.
