Mitch Evans managed to grab pole position during the Monaco E-Prix. The driver left a strong impression and demonstrated his qualities once again in the final against Pascal Wehrlein. Nyck de Vries and Robin Frijns were eliminated in the quarterfinals.

In Group A, the participating drivers had to work hard. For example, Stoffel Vandoorne initially saw himself fall outside the top ten, but in the final minutes, he managed to set the fastest time. Wehrlein, Jean-Éric Vergne and Lucas di Grassi joined him in the quarter-finals. Nick Cassidy did cause a yellow flag at the end, but it did not cause problems for other drivers.

Shortly after, it was the Dutch' turn. Nyck de Vries seemed to have trouble keeping up early in the qualifying and didn't get any further than sixth position, but managed to get into the top four in the closing stages. Robin Frijns soon succeeded in doing so, allowing two Dutchmen to reach the next round. Evans and Andre Lotterer also managed to do so.

Frijns had to take on Vandoorne in the first quarter-final and that proved too much for the Dutch driver. Vandoorne set a faster time and went on to the semi-finals. Wehrlein also succeeded in that, after which it was De Vries's turn. In battle with Vergne, he fell well short and did not drive a flawless lap at all. Finally, Evans beat his competitor Di Grassi by a wide margin.

Exciting finals in E-Prix Monaco

In the semi-finals, it was first the turn of Wehrlein and Vandoorne. Both drivers remained close to each other for a long time, but Wehrlein managed to beat his rival in the final stage. In the other confrontation, Vergne showed himself excellently with a rock-solid time. However, that proved not enough to beat Evans. In the final Evans managed to continue this form and beat his competitor.
