Rosberg sees chances for Verstappen: 'For Leclerc, this is horrible'

It looks like we are going to have a wet race in Imola. The difficult conditions will create extra pressure for some drivers, Nico Rosberg tells us. The former Formula 1 driver would not like to be in the position of Charles Leclerc.
"If I was in the championship lead, this would be horrible. It would just be scary as hell because the risk is just huge to make a mistake and to end up last instead of first, and to lose a huge chunk of points compared to Max Verstappen," Rosberg begins on Sky Sports' broadcast.
It looks like the drivers will start on the intermediate tires, but the track will slowly dry out. Nevertheless, the chance of precipitation remains throughout the race. In the conditions, the chance of mistakes is much more present. "If I was in Charles’ point of view, it would just be horrible and scary. From Verstappen’s point of view, he’s probably excited about this, because it is a huge chance for him to make up a lot of ground, hoping for a mistake from Leclerc’s side", Rosberg continues.
Pressure on Leclerc
Leclerc will feel the pressure at the start for the Imola Grand Prix. Starting from P2, he will have to attack Verstappen, but he will have to make sure he doesn't make any mistakes in the rain. A DNF would give Verstappen the chance to catch up further in the drivers' championship.
"The pressure really is on, because he is the favourite. He is leading the championship by a mile. The expectation is now that he needs to guarantee a good points haul today from at least a top-three position in these difficult conditions. Definitely, he will be feeling a lot of pressure not to mess it up in these difficult conditions today."
