Formula 2 has already finished the race in Imola, but it was a dramatic main race for the Red Bull team. Indeed, three juniors crashed and did not make it to the finish line. Theo Pourchaire eventually won the race.

Theo Pourchaire crossed the line first in Imola, winning a chaotic race. Red Bull juniors Jüri Vips and Liam Lawson both didn't make it to the finish after mistakes of their own. Vips started from pole position for the first time in F2, but he could not hold the first spot for long. At the start he fell back to P4.

Red Bull junior Dennis Hauger also had a dramatic start, as the driver ended up in the wall after a collision with Jack Doohan. After the safety car, Vips lost control of his car and ended up in the track barrier.

Red Bull juniors make little impression

For Lawson, too, the race went anything but well. The Red Bull junior crashed on lap 32 due to his own mistake, ending the race behind the safety car. Like Vips, Red Bull junior Ayumu Iwasa had trouble getting away at the start. He eventually crossed the line in fifth place. Richard Verschoor did not manage to impress in Imola and only finished on P15.
