Hamilton may start from pit lane on Sunday after P16 in qualifying

Lewis Hamilton's weekend is off to a dramatic start. The Brit did not get beyond Q1 during qualifying for the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix. With only a P16, there is a possibility that he will start from the pit lane on Sunday.
Hamilton was not satisfied with the balance of the car after qualifying. Mercedes made a number of adjustments to the set-up of the W13 after the third free practice session, but for the seven-time World Champion, these clearly did not help.
Viaplay reported that Hamilton has told the press that he may start from the pit lane tomorrow. This is because that way Mercedes can still change the Briton's set-up in the hope that he can make up a few places during the race.
Hamilton can avoid chaos
Whether Hamilton starts from P16 or from the pit lane doesn't make much difference, and it also gives him the advantage of avoiding the chaos at the start. Teammate George Russell did advance to Q2, but qualifying is currently on hold after Mick Schumacher's crash.
