Hulkenberg convinced: "Beside Verstappen, Formula 1 was the big winner"

As controversial as that final round maybe, Hulkenberg believes that Formula 1 only benefits from it as a sport. "Something that definitely sticks in your mind is the enormous global media presence of the racing series, which was certainly the big winner beside Max Verstappen," continued the Mercedes, McLaren and Aston Martin reserve driver.

According to Hulkenberg, the blistering finale was a sum of several parts that have developed over the past few years. The Netflix series Drive to Survive also played an important role in this. "Formula 1 is on its way to being really sexy again," he concluded.
