Kubica certainly made the most of his role as reserve driver at Alfa Romeo, providing them with plenty of data and the fastest time of the day! While Red Bull and Alex Albon suffered a suspension failure before Max Verstappen brought out the red flag near the end of the afternoon session with a spin.

Their sister team, Alpha Tauri, didn't have the best day either as a loose pipe plagued Pierre Gasly's morning, while Daniil Kvyat came to a halt on track at a similar time to Verstappen.
Williams changed their Mercedes power unit for the third time in four days after an oil leak cut short Nicholas Latifi's time in the car while Mercedes and Ferrari had a relatively quiet day on track, compiling plenty of laps between them.
