Latifi escapes penalty after near-touch with Verstappen in pit lane

At the start of the first free practice session in Belgium, Max Verstappen was fortunately wide awake. The singular world champion almost collided with Nicholas Latifi in the pit lane with his RB18. The Canadian Williams driver was sent out by a member of his pit crew at a time when he really couldn't have.

Race control investigated the incident but decided not to penalise Latifi for an unsafe release. Williams can breathe a sigh of relief.
