Ferrari may have had a disappointing weekend without a podium, but in terms of pit stops the team was faster than Red Bull Racing. Both Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz recorded faster times than Verstappen who finished in third place.

Leclerc was by far the fastest on Sunday with a time of 2.23 seconds, while his teammate could also be satisfied with 2.37 seconds. Verstappen and Sergio Perez followed behind with times of 2.49 and 2.50 seconds, making them almost equal.

Whereas McLaren has performed excellently this season in terms of pit stops, the racing team in Barcelona came no further than the sixth and seventh times. McLaren came more than three tenths short of Leclerc's time. Alpine is still in between with a time of 2.55 seconds.

McLaren stays ahead of Red Bull with pit stops

After six races, McLaren remains on top in the classification of DHL, followed by Red Bull which is getting closer and closer. Ferrari can be found in third place with no less than sixty points less than competitor Red Bull. The weekend in Spain may give Ferrari some confidence for the coming months when it comes to pit stops.
