Wolff didnt start these rumours, all the teams have been talking about it. Where their info has originated from, who knows but they have been suspicious for ages about how certain teams were able to bring so many upgrades last year. And someone in the fia must be talking as they seem to have very precise info about the accounts. And Ferrari are talking just as loudly as merc about the potential issue03-10-2022 17:20

Jesus, this comments section is still filled with a bunch of children, both max & lewis fans. It's depressing, where are all the adult f1 fans?03-10-2022 17:05

I cant see any situation where confusion could arise because a driver has signed a waiver and is wearing subtle, safe, non metallic jewellery, like Lewis' tiny nose stud or very small earings. These have zero consequences from a safety point of view. Really, none whatsoever and any arguments from the fia that this is a safety issue is spurious & unfounded. Yes, there should probably be some exceptions like watches, heavy chains or chunky rings but the drivers aren't stupid and dont wear things like this in their car anyway. Allowing drivers to sign waivers on things that really aren't a safety issue will not lead to them wanting to sign more waivers that would breach genuine safety regulations. They wouldn't want it and the fia rightly wouldn't allow it. But they should be making exceptions with this issue. Claiming it's all about safety is laughable in light of them signing off on concrete barriers in Miami instead of Tecpro barriers. Driver safety wasn't at the forefront of their concerns then! And they are exempting wedding rings - which could have safety implications in the event of a hand injury where there is a lot of swelling - but no exemption for a tiny nose stud that's perfectly safe. . It's petty and the fia should choose their battles better.15-05-2022 04:00

Lewis hasn't said a single word. It's all speculation & assumptions. Which you Hamilton haters happily believe because it gives validity to your hatred28-01-2022 16:26

Oh come on. You're no better than the Lewis haters. Max didn't cheat. It's not his fault that Masi panicked & bowed to the pressure from yelling TPs28-01-2022 21:34

He said "due to the VARIOUS controversial decisions this season" not just the ones that went against Hamilton or just the finale but due to all the years controversial decisions.15-12-2021 22:39

I imagine the point is that Plooji is implying Mercedes is doing something underhand and unfair, esp to Bottas, when it is nothing new within both redbull & MB, & other teams too, to use second drivers or junior teams to gather data. . I don't think it's particularly unfair to Bottas as he isn't fighting for the championship so his role is to support the team & Lewis. It's what he has always done & it's not just a MB thing.28-11-2021 03:09
