Nah...he stole the title in 2021! And the years after that? It was just the car. :-)27-09-2025 18:27

44, You’re trying to twist this into me somehow “failing” to prove things or making false claims, but the reality is simple: your posts are full of loaded language, dismissals, and personal digs. That’s why I said I see more insults and attacks, the belittling and personal attacks are there in black and white. Pointing that out isn’t "lying” or “sarcasm.” It’s holding you accountable for the way you engage with others here. If you really believe you’re sticking to the spirit of your own pact, then you shouldn’t need to justify calling people liars or fools by wordplay. And no, I don’t need to be in any Discord group, pact, or “side of the fence” to recognize when someone turns things personal instead of keeping them on-topic. That’s the whole point: stick to the content, not attacking the person behind it. I have no interest in engaging with people who can’t make a civil comment without resorting to personal digs. Likewise, I have no interest in wading through 3,000-word walls of text when the same points could be expressed far more clearly and concisely. So write as much as you like, my reply will be the same every time: "I don’t respond to uncivil comments, and I don’t respond to posts that go beyond the reasonable length and scope of what belongs in a blog discussion."26-08-2025 19:22

Right on point, Mech. The past few years have shown that Hamilton is a good, solid, driver who's able to win when he has a dominant car, but who is much less convincing when he doesn't have it. If Ferrari can make a winning car, the best driver between the two of them will win the title and my opinion is that he won't be Hamilton. It could have been a close and nice battle to watch ten years ago. Now, I don't think that he can outperform a driver like Leclerc.26-08-2025 04:05

No mate, this is not a "discussion blog," this is a comment section. Your posts are too long to be considered comments. I just gave it a glance and I see more insults and personal attacks. You are really setting an example here, 44. Way to go.26-08-2025 02:59

44, If you cannot make a point in less than 200 words/ 1000 characters, that's not worth of reading it. Not for me at least. Make your point straight and direct and I can reply to you, otherwise you are not going to be addressed by me. Just so you know.25-08-2025 23:17

44, Love, it was my opinion, not a bait. Is every view you don’t like a “bait” just because you might not like it? You jumped in insulting me, calling me names and claiming I have no knowledge of this sport. Congrats, mate, you’re clearly setting ana example here. And yes, I get the right to say what I think. I live in a free country.25-08-2025 23:11

“He’s not in a car that should be on pole. He’s not in a car that should be winning races. Not even close.” Hinchcliffe is no **licker. He's right on point. Verstappen has the rare ability to tame both understeering and oversteering cars in a way no one else can. In other words, he consistently outperforms the car’s natural limits. Other very talented drivers shine when given a well-balanced machine, but take that away and they’re lost...it’s like pulling the carpet from under their feet. That, in my opinion (and in the opinion of many experts), is the defining line between a good driver and a truly great one. It’s why Verstappen is the most sought-after driver right now, even by team principals who already have strong drivers meeting expectations (just ask Wolff). If Mercedes really has the engine people claim, it would be a major blow to Hamilton. And if Wolff manages to pry Verstappen away from Stroll’s camp, we might be looking at another half-decade of domination.25-08-2025 19:24

4 Legends "I get insulted by these trolls more than I insult them." Spare us. J41L’s comment wasn’t even an insult here. Yours was. You’re not being attacked, you’re just exposed. Stop cowering behind the victim mask; it’s worn thin and everyone sees straight through it. You’re not the wounded party here: you’re the loudest, most relentless aggressor. Maybe once you were a victim, I can't say. But that chapter, if it even existed, closed long ago. Now you’re nothing more than a bully masquerading as prey. If you had even half the spine you accuse others of lacking, you’d drop the charade and admit what you’ve become. You can’t play both victim and executioner. And let this sink in: being hurt once doesn’t grant you a lifetime pass to do further wrongdoing.20-08-2025 20:55

44-8x(hopeful) Friendly advice: pointing out typos doesn’t make your argument stronger, it just makes your insecurity louder. If you actually had something insightful to add, you wouldn’t need to call out spelling. As for your “yesterday’s news” claim, talent speaks for itself, and it tends to have a much longer impact than your comments do. So if all you’ve got is grammar policing and recycled leaderboard spam, maybe let the adults enjoy the actual racing.20-08-2025 19:33
