Bernie so often 'sees' what F1 can be with far more clarity than most: Recognising that there has to be change, but cognisant of the pitfalls potentially involved. He's not, of course, infallible, as the trainwreck that was the revised qualifying format in 2016 attests: But this latest idea could work, and far better than the reverse grid idea. Mind you, with F1 bosses maintaining that the viewing public are unable to cope with anything more complicated than soft, medium and hard tyre compounds, what hope is there?19-02-2021 16:26
