Fortunately, Lewis also wanted to make the rules better at the time of Mercedes dominance, yes he was really in favor of that when Alonso also proposed this in 2017: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QK2agRDHDYI

Unlike Lewis Hamilton in the Mercedes, who climbed out of his W13 with severe pain from porpoising after the race, Lando Norris was not bothered by the bounce. "It was beautiful, I enjoyed it," said Norris when asked what his ride was like in the McLaren on the Baku street circuit. "I can't complain, we have a bit of porpoising and bounce, but you have to deal with that," the Briton continues cheerfully. According to the McLaren driver, it is a matter of finding the right balance between performance and the amount of porpoising. The more performance you want to appeal to, the more porpoising you get, according to the Brit. "It just depends on what you choose. We can easily lower the car to unlock more performance, but then you also get more porpoising. But I think we have now found the right compromise." Norris sees an easy solution to the major porpoising problem at Mercedes. "I'm sure Mercedes could have a stiffer floor and raise the car so it will be a lot nicer for them (the drivers). But obviously they don't want to lose performance." Norris therefore finds this lament unjustified and puts the German racing stable in its place. "I don't think there is anything to complain about (about porpoising, ed.). They just have to find a way to fix it themselves." So it's up to the teams to fix this and not the FIA to change the rules (again) during a current season, like Norris said.

Why the hatred and bickering between Hamilton and Verstappen 'fans'? It's a shambles on this forum and a normal response or discussion doesn't seem possible anymore. Constantly provoking each other with reactions that are in most cases even worse than the reaction of a 4-year-old toddler. Incidentally, not only on this forum, but is a general trend on social media. Both gentlemen have presented us with a fantastic season. If you are a fan of the sport, you will see that both drivers have outstanding qualities. There is no need to downplay or deny these qualities of both drivers. Recognize that and enjoy the sport and let everyone in their value and respect each other. I say this as a Dutchman and citizen of the world. If the drivers have respect for each other, why can't many fans have this as well to one another?

Jesus, we are now a week further and people keep on whining. Get over it already! I am an F1 fan and both drivers deserved the championship. Over the entire season, Max is the deserved champion. As if Max or Lewis can do something about race management decisions. We've had questionable decisions all season. But that does not mean that you should give the championship to Lewis purely on the basis of the last decision. Then you'll have to scrutinize all the questionable decisions throughout the season. Max is a worthy successor and a deserved world champion. On to 2022 and with a possibly 8th title for Lewis.
