@Flatout, ok, so your issue is more with the people asking the questions, and news sites publishing the answers, rather than those answering the questions? Isn't the point of any individual sport to prove who the best in the world is? And the point for journalists and news sites (and any form of employment) to make money and earn a living? Why would they not do what allows them to that as best as possible, again, just as anyone employed anywhere else? Why does it bother you so much? Why not just live and let live, and be more tolerant? And if you see a headline you don't like and you know it's going to nauseate you, why not just move on and not read it, and allow those who enjoy reading it to do exactly that? I don't agree that it's the first time with Max. It was the same with Senna, Schumacher, Lewis, and even Alonso for his two years. The only multiple champion who wasn't as praised during his day was Vettel. The only difference now is that news is much more accessible. Back in Senna's and most of Schumacher's days it was just physical newspapers and magazines, but in terms of the percentage of coverage and praise they got compared to other drivers, it was the same as Max. In fact, percentage-wise they got even more. The limited scope for journalism at the time meant that most other drivers were almost completely ignored. Now we still hear about other drivers, albeit not as much as the driver who is considered the best, which as pointed out makes absolute sense if that's what makes the money.
