Ziggo has lost the battle for the F1 broadcasting rights in the Netherlands to the Scandinavian NENT. Rumour has it that Dutch F1 fans with a Ziggo subscription will still be able to watch F1 for the next three years.

It is not certain, but rumour has it that Dutch F1-fans will be able to continue watching Formula 1 in the same way as in recent years. The F1 would even remain available on Ziggo at no extra cost.

The website Gostreaming.nl relies on the tweet of Frederik Middelhof. The IndyCar podcast maker reports that Viaplay, the streaming service on which F1 will be shown via NENT in the next three years, can simply be received at Ziggo.

According to Middelhof the negotiations are still ongoing. Middelhof: "In short, early switchers might regret their hasty decision.
