Verstappen relieved after victory: 'Everyone sees you as a favourite'

Max Verstappen booked his third victory in three races in Austria. The Red Bull Racing man drove away in the opening phase and after that nobody could stop him from achieveing his third victory in three races. Immediately after the race, under loud cheering from the Dutch fans, he looked back on the race.

"It's really great. The car was on rails, on every tyre set and very enjoyable to drive. Pretty insane. I was amazed by how today went. To deliver something like this everyone sees you as favourite but it's never easy to deliver. Incredible job by the team and Honda," explained the Dutchman after the race.

"These two weeks have been really great here. I just had to be awake at the start so I had a gap. I knew that if I was fast there I could drive my own race."

Finally, Verstappen also praised the Dutch fans in Austria. "It was insane to see all the fans here today. A great motivation. The last lap was orange all over the track."
