Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton have battled each other every race so far in 2021, and once again there was a fight in the first corner. The Dutchman was able to take the lead right at the first corner, which Renger van der Zande and Robert Doornbos enjoyed.

''It's still his best season to date, but Max Verstappen just got beat today on strategy. You choose that strategy in the morning, and with that start Verstappen had the perfect opening of the race, because then you can drive in the clean air'', said Doornbos after the race at Ziggo Sport.

Verstappen comes up just short
