Guenther Steiner is the big star of the Netflix series Drive to Survive. On Friday, the third season will premiere on the streaming service, and once again, Steiner is prominently featured.

The series is a big hit on Netflix, even with viewers who didn't follow Formula One before. Steiner, in particular, is a favorite with many viewers, mainly because of his direct demeanor and the way he communicates with his drivers.

Steiner has no desire to watch Drive to Survive

Steiner himself has no desire to watch the series, but he says he has no problem with the way the filmmakers portrayed him. "We all know that filmmakers try to get the best out of everything so it's fun for the viewers," Steiner says in conversation with Motorsport.com. "I don't know the extent to which they blew it up, so I can't criticize it either. I don't know how they handled it, so I don't really have an opinion on it."

"As long as the stories aren't completely made up we can live with it. I haven't heard that they've done that, other than maybe dramatized it a little bit. Other than that, I don't think they changed much," Steiner concludes.
