Verstappen very happy with award: "I want to thank you for all your hard work"
- GPblog.com
For the second year in a row Max Verstappen will receive a trophy at the annual gala of the FIA in Monaco. Due to the ongoing pandemic, this year's gala is not really a party, but that should not spoil the fun for Verstappen.
He poses with a broad shine when he shows the cup for third place in the Formula 1 World Championship. Verstappen dropped out last year that he would rather finish third because he wouldn't have to go to the gala, but Verstappen seems to be very happy with this.
Verstappen is going to take it easy for a while
Being third in the World Cup for the second time in a row is also something that Verstappen can be really proud of. He has to compete with a lesser car against the supreme Mercedes and this season he was the only one who could make things difficult for them.
