Vettel understands "tense" Leclerc radio messages

Sebastian Vettel says he understands Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc's "tense" radio messages so far this season.
Leclerc had looked set for pole position for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, having looked comfortably faster than his Ferrari teammate in the final practice session ahead of qualifying.
However, a driver error saw the Monegasque driver crash into the barriers at turn eight. The Ferrari driver then came across the radio to tell his team he was "stupid".
The four-time champion however understands Leclerc's messages and mindset and admitted that his reaction had been perfectly normal.
"Normally radio messages sound tense," Vettel said.
"The tricky thing about the radio messages is that you don't really know what kind of mindset we have in the race while you listen to them. What I want to say is that you naturally try to go around as quickly as possible.
"I think it's It is fairly normal that you do not respond as if you were sitting on the couch at home, having a drink and relaxing. You are in a hurry and I think this applies to all of us. "
"This is our passion and our lives and we care a lot about what happens on the job. It's normal that it sounds tense, because we are too. We all want to win and go as quickly as possible, so it seems pretty normal to me and a good sign.
"If you sound relaxed, you are asked afterwards what is wrong. I think it is a good sign, because emotions are part of the sport and that should be true."
