Guenther Steiner says the race stewards must improve after disliking the result of the racing incident between Haas driver Romain Grosjean and Lance Stroll. The team boss of Haas doesn't believe the incident at the start of the Bahrain Grand Prix was a racing incident.

Grosjean was first to retire from the race following on from the incident. The Frenchman had shown good pace throughout the weekend and qualified inside the top 10 until a grid penalty pushed him back.

His impact with Stroll caused a puncture, which in turn damaged his floor. A points score would have been on the cards if the incident didn't happen. He was quick to comment on his views on the stewards.

“I don't like to say such things, but if they make mistakes, they have to get better and learn to listen. But they keep making mistakes because they don't want to listen and think they are superior," the Italian reported to the Bahrain press.
