Results FP3 Formula E | Frijns fastest, Wehrlein and Hughes in top 3
- GPblog.com
A short free practice session occurred ahead of the weekend's second race in Misano. After Antonio Felix da Costa's victory yesterday, who was later disqualified due to a technical infringement, the drivers will return to the track on Sunday.
Robin Frijns did not have the best race on Saturday. He sustained damage and could not compete for the win. In free practice, however, he managed to put the car in first place at the start of the session.
Halfway through the session, Pascal Wehrlein went fastest, just before Sette Camara took that spot from him. With a time of 1:17.9, Camara was almost seven-tenths faster than Wehrlein at the time. It was a fairly quiet practice session, but Jaguar Racing's Nick Cassidy provided some drama as he ran off the track. The times continued to fall, with Frijns eventually posting a 1:16.9 to top the timesheet.
In the end, it was a free practice without too many risky moments or mishaps. The drivers are saving everything until qualifying and, of course, the race later this Sunday.
