Filming of Lewis Hamilton's F1 film restarted after strike

10 January - 08:30

The F1 film, starring actor Brad Pitt and Lewis Hamilton as producer, was already suffering some setbacks. Now it is known that the actual filming will go on again!

According to RACER, production continues at the Daytona International Speedway in Florida. Testing for the IMSA Sportscar Championship will take place there from 19 January. A week later, the season starts in Florida. The film crew will also be here. It was planned that Lewis Hamilton's 2023 film is shot at different locations. This succeeded in Silverstone, but it did not get off the ground in Vegas, for example, due to the Hollywood strike.

Driver is Brad Pitt

As with the F1 weekends, where there was a simplified F1 car ready for Brad Pitt's fictional team, there is now also a car ready on behalf of the IMSA. It will be filmed during the event. It is still uncertain whether Brad Pitt himself will drive the car or if it will be done for him.
