2023 was a good year for the Aston Martin team. Eight podiums and a fifth place in the constructors' championship marked the best season for the young Aston Martin team. The Aston Martin F1 team has released some figures from last season on their website.

The team brought in 280 points last season. More than five times more than in the previous year. The number is slightly higher than the number of times the team has had to change oil in an F1 car, which was 220 times. Four times on Thursday, three times before and after qualifying. The pit crew also tried very hard. They practised a pit stop 484 times. This paid off in the fastest pit stop of 2.33 seconds and sixth place in the DHL Fastest Pitstop standings.

As mentioned, Fernando Alonso managed to secure eight podiums. The Spanish driver climbed the podium in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Miami, Monaco, Canada, Zandvoort and São Paulo. Three times in second and the other times in third. The team managed to collect 7,500 gigabytes of data to use for analysis. 700 litres of dark green paint went on the AMR23. A nice statistic to round off with is the fact that both drivers together drove 5949 laps over the past year. This amounts to about 30,250 kilometres or about 75% around the earth.
