After Aston Martin and Williams, now Alpine also reveal F1 Academy driver

Following the announcement of Tina Hausmann at Aston Martin and Lia Block at Williams, Alpine has now also announced their driver for the F1 Academy. It was announced that 20-year-old British driver Abbi Pulling will get behind the wheel in the Alpine in 2024. Pulling herself is eager to drive the car.

Pulling enters her second consecutive season in F1 Academy, having participated in the series' first edition in 2023. Last season, the driver stood on the podium seven times, taking pole position twice in the Academy class. The British talent is very happy to have another season.

"I am very grateful to be coming back for another year as an Alpine Academy driver, and I am honoured that BWT Alpine F1 Team are entrusting me as their driver selection for the 2024 F1 Academy season," opened the Gosberton-based driver. "This will be my third season in the team’s driver development programme," she continued.

"I am looking forward to competing in the F1 Academy series for a second season and to be racing with Rodin Carlin again. I’m hoping to have a successful year and bring in some good results for the team. I am excited to head into another season of racing on the Formula 1 support bill, the atmosphere is going to be incredible," she concluded.
