Max Verstappen's season can be called impressive. The Dutchman is already world champion five races before the end of the season, and with 14 wins from 17 races, it is fair to say he is incredibly dominant. Aston Martin reserve driver Felipe Drugovich sometimes sits in the simulator playing with the Dutchman. Speaking to F1TV, the Brazilian talks about the dedication Verstappen has towards racing.

At the sprint race in Qatar, Verstappen took the world title. It is a culmination of a fantastic season, in which Verstappen and Red Bull have broken records, and been overpowering in Formula 1. Drugovich says: "It’s incredible, the level he was able to keep throughout the whole year. Actually, throughout his whole career."

Drugovich praises Verstappen's dedication

The 2022 Formula 2 champion therefore sees the dedication of the Dutchman. He has a special story for this: "We play quite a bit on the simulator at home, and sometimes when I get home on a Monday after a race, he is already there in the morning. It’s quite incredible, the commitment and the focus that he has."
