Max Verstappen won his home race at Zandvoort this weekend for the third year in a row. With his victory, he also equalled the record for most wins in a row. After the race, the Red Bull driver compared his victory this year with the previous victories he took at Circuit Zandvoort.

It was a tricky race for the drivers. The race started with dry conditions, but even before the second lap, Sergio Perez, among others, decided to make a pit stop, which took him from seventh to first place. Later in the race, the track became much wetter, leading to a red flag. After the restart, Verstappen was not overtaken, and could celebrate his 11th win of the season.

"I had a good base on the intermediates," began Verstappen. "I knew that if I had to push, we would be fast. So it was more about keeping the tyres alive in case it rained more. So in the beginning it went pretty well."

Which race at Zandvoort did Verstappen find most difficult?

This year was the third edition of the Dutch Grand Prix since its return in 2021, and all three editions were won by Verstappen. But which of the three was his best win? "I think the races are really very different, but with this year's it was definitely the most difficult to make the right decisions at the righttime," the Dutchman stated.
