Verstappen on own racing branch: 'This is just the beginning'

That Max Verstappen drives in Formula 1 is of course common knowledge, but Formula 1 is not the only class the Dutchman is involved in. The two-time world champion also founded his own racing branch, called Verstappen.com Racing, and Verstappen wants to make that much bigger than it is now.

Verstappen.com Racing is still only small

Currently, Verstappen.com Racing is active in three worlds. In the rally world, Jos Verstappen drives for the team, in the DTM Thierry Vermeulen does, and Verstappen.com Racing is also active in the virtual racing world.

If it is up to Verstappen himself, his racing branch will grow many times over. "This is just the beginning of everything. I am very busy with it and have many ideas and plans. Not even for myself to race in, but for others," Verstappen is quoted by de Telegraaf.

Verstappen's focus still at F1

Currently, Verstappen is the dominant force in F1 and that is still the focus, but in the future, the Dutchman wants his team to be active in many different classes of motorsport. "Of course, my main focus at the moment is Formula 1, but I want to do other things eventually. We are already working hard on the next steps and I expect more to come out of that within one or two years."
