Vettel back in F1 paddock in Monaco at Aston Martin
- Toby McLuskie
Sebastian Vettel has briefly returned to the F1 paddock. The German was previously spotted at the track, but the four-time world champion's return has been captured on Aston Martin's Twitter channel.
Vettel back for a while
Vettel announced his retirement in 2022. The German had a wonderful career in Formula 1, culminating in his four world titles for Red Bull Racing. His final seasons were spent working for Aston Martin, with which he had difficult seasons. His successor Fernando Alonso has stepped in at a good time in that respect.
That Vettel misses the competition, he previously revealed in an interview, and so he is coming to Monaco to take a look around the paddock. Earlier in the weekend, pictures were already seeping through on social channels that Vettel would be present and now Aston Martin has confirmed it: the German came to say hello to his old team.
