Christian Horner is happy with pole position for Sergio Perez, but is annoyed that Max Verstappen has a poor starting position after Charles Leclerc' s crash and accompanying red flag in Miami. After qualifying, Horner looked back.

"Had it been stopped immediately, you could've possibly got round," Horner told Sky about the FIA 's decision not to resume the session. "That's the difficulty of not getting your first lap in, Checo did that and it was a great first lap. Delighted with the pole for Checo, but frustrated not to have both cars up there [in the front row]."

Red Bull will do some homework tonight. "We're just having a look at the data, the wind and what we could've done differently or better. A great first lap for Checo, I think he had the potential to go quicker as well. The wind was getting up, I don't know if that caught out Max and Charles. He navigated a good lap and got a well deserved pole."

Red Bull wary

At Viaplay, Red Bull's team boss further said he expects another "interesting" GP. "I think again anything is possible. Max has done it from 15th before. So you just don't know and you can't rule out the other teams and Ferrari and so on. So it could be a really, really exciting race tomorrow. Fernando [Alonso] up there as well. Could make it interesting."
