Miami Grand Prix

After a long time of speculation, this became the second Grand Prix in the United States in 2022. In 2023, F1 will add a third stop in America because of the introduction of the Las Vegas Grand Prix. Formula 1 cars will race at the Miami International Autodrome.

The Miami Grand Prix 2023

Miami also wanted to be part of the F1 calendar for a while. In 2022 the time came. The circuit is built around the Hard Rock Stadium and with its three DRS zones and 19 corners. Formula 1 cars are expected to reach a top speed of 320 kilometres per hour.

The 2022 edition was very fitting of the early part of the season. Leclerc and Sainz both qualified ahead of Verstappen, but on race day the Red Bull driver had the speed. The Dutchman survived a late safety car period to take the win. Valtteri Bottas looked likely for a P5 finish, but the drivers for his former team made their way past in the late stages.
