After qualifying for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, Red Bull Racing has mixed feelings. There was pole position for Sergio Perez, but Max Verstappen came no further than fifteenth on the grid after engine problems. Christian Horner reacts at Sky Sports and Viaplay.

"Yes, that's what it looks like [problems with the drivetrain]," Horner agreed. "We have to get into the car and see exactly. A great shame, that lap in Q1 would've put him P4 on the grid. We have a quick race car and I'm sure he'll race quickly tomorrow."

The Austrian racing stable knows it can usually lean on a strong strategy. "I mean, there's still opportunities tomorrow. I think it's gonna be about strategy, safety cars staying out of trouble on the, on the first lap here. So, so yeah, I mean, there's, there's still, you know, everything to play for.," Horner said.

Perez on P1

About Perez's lap, Horner praised him. His first run in Q3 was good enough to start from the first starting spot tomorrow. "Checo, that lap in Q3 was phenomenal. I am delighted for him today. Fernando's gonna race him hard, but, you know, great to get that pole" the team boss concludes his story.
