Frederic Vasseur is in full preparation for the new season with Ferrari. As the new team boss, he is trying to add his vision to the team, with the goal of becoming world champion being clear. In Ferrari's press release, he states he is very satisfied with Ferrari's qualities.

The last time Ferrari managed to take the drivers' championship was in 2007, so there is work to be done. According to Vasseur, it is mainly important to work on the mentality within the team. "We have to bring the right mindset with us and always work on being better tomorrow than we are today," he said.

On Tuesday morning, Ferrari presented the new car, with which they will start the season with next month in Bahrain. Vasseur is proud of the final result of the SF-23, although he was hardly able to influence it himself. "I am very pleased with how the car looks. I love the red colour."

Vasseur wants to focus on performance

For Vasseur, it is important to quickly shift full energy to on-track performance. In just over a week's time, the team boss will see for the first time how Ferrari is doing. That is because three test days in Bahrain are scheduled then, which will also reveal the performance of the other teams.

"Our focus will soon shift to another aspect, which is its speed and performance. We have two talented drivers who are both eager to win and have the skills needed to achieve this," Vasseur pointed to Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz.
