What are the differences between Alfa Romeo's C42 and C43?
Although it remains to be seen how strong Alfa Romeo will be on the track in the new season, the team did show the exterior of the new car on Tuesday morning. In doing so, it became clear that the C43 has a different look from last year's version.
Last season, Alfa Romeo still chose a car that mainly featured the colours white and red, but that is different this season. Indeed, the 2023 car possesses much more black, while the white returns to the car only with accents. This is reportedly to do with weight. This is because the black colour is carbon fibre (without painting), making the car less heavy.
Things have also changed in terms of sponsors. Stake is the formation's official title partner from this season onwards, so the name also appears large on the side of the car. The organisation can also be seen on the front wing.

Preparations for the new F1 season
The new Alfa Romeo will take to the track at the end of the month when three test days in Bahrain are scheduled. Valtteri Bottas and Guanyu Zhou are expected to get a day and a half each to get used to the new car, after which the new season will start in early March.
