Charles Leclerc is reasonably satisfied after the Brazilian Grand Prix. The Monegasque started the race from fifth position, but had to go in early after a touch with Lando Norris. Whereas he was angry during the race, he was able to look at the situation more objectively afterwards.

Leclerc had a disappointing start, but managed to put his car alongside Norris as early as lap seven. The two men entered the corner together as a result, with the Ferrari driver unable to avoid his car being tapped and ending up off track.

"I am pretty sure that I left space," Leclerc confidently stated in conversation with Sky Sports. "I think he lost the rear and touched me. Then after that it was a good recovery, but not enough to obviously challenge for better positions."

Perez and Leclerc fight for second place

Leclerc fought his way back throughout the race, finishing in fourth place, more than four seconds behind teammate Carlos Sainz. Sergio Pere z's seventh-place finish means the Ferrari and Red Bull drivers both go into the final race in Abu Dhabi with 290 points.
