Lando Norris would like to drive a rally in the future. The McLaren driver recently experienced rallying at close quarters during an event to promote his own clothing brand Quadrant and this made him very enthusiastic about the extreme racing class.

After going through several junior classes, and winning the European Formula 3 title in 2017, Norris made his Formula 1 debut at McLaren in 2019. A year before that, he had made another foray into sports cars. He competed in the 24 Hours of Daytona on behalf of United Autosports alongside Fernando Alonso. This is not the end of his experience, as Norris is also interested in rallying.

Take a shot

To Motorsport.com Norris says he would like to try rallying. He got the idea during a promotional event for his clothing brand Quadrant. It was the first time he had seen it up close and it made him want to give it a try.

If it comes to that, Norris will be cautious and jokes about starting at a location without trees and tyre piles nearby. He simply says he wants to try something new. As to whether he ever wants to venture into a championship, the Briton says he wants to see what it is like first. Finally, he thinks it looks great.
