The Formula One drivers are preparing for the third and final free practice session of the Miami Grand Prix. After losing time on Friday, the drivers will want to take advantage of the last session before qualifying.

Problems for Verstappen
Max Verstappen's problems stacked up in Miami. The Dutchman was hardly in action after he had problems in FP1 with an overheated RB18, while in FP2 he could not even record a lap due to hydraulic problems. It is hoped that Red Bull Racing has solved everything so Verstappen can make up for lost time during FP3.
Friday did not go smoothly for Ferrari either. Carlos Sainz ended up in the wall during FP2, causing him to lose a lot of data as well. Charles Leclerc on the other hand did fine, but for all drivers it is actually true that they did not drive as much as planned. In fact, there were several red flags on the Friday. It will therefore be busy on the track in the third and final practice session.
Mercedes could be the big surprise of the weekend. George Russell set the fastest time in FP2 and Lewis Hamilton also finished in the top four. So it looks better than the weekend in Imola, where both cars did not get further than Q2.
