Horner proud of Verstappen and Perez: "We have two cars up at the front"

Christian Horner can be satisfied with both Red Bull Racing drivers. Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez finished first and third respectively in the sprint race, allowing them to start Sunday's race from those same positions.
This also puts Red Bull Perez exactly where it wants him, as from the third starting spot he can provide his teammate with the necessary back up. At the start he will try to attack Charles Leclerc, but also to keep Carlos Sainz behind him.
Horner delighted with Verstappen and Perez
Horner is delighted with both drivers. "All credit to Max, he kept his head and stayed patient," the Red Bull team boss says in a Red Bull Racing press release. He explains that Verstappen was only told in the last few laps that Charles Leclerc's front tyre was starting to wear and that he then took his chance to take back the lead.
Horner also has nothing but praise for Perez. The pace was good with the Mexican, who managed to make up several places, putting himself in a better starting position for Sunday's race. "The good thing is we’ve now got two cars up at the front of the grid and we’ll hope to capitalise on that," Horner said.
