These drivers will be on track in Barcelona on Wednesday at F1 testing 2022

The winter test gets underway in Barcelona. Max Verstappen will be in action on behalf of Red Bull Racing on the first day already with the new RB18. Read here who else will get behind the wheel on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, February 23, the 2022 Formula 1 season really gets underway. After nine car presentations almost all teams are ready for the season. Only Alfa Romeo is still waiting and will most likely not appear in Barcelona with the official livery for 2022. That will not be presented until February 27.

Three days of testing will take place in Barcelona, but it will be done behind closed doors. The official opening of the season is in Bahrain, where the real winter test and first Grand Prix of the season are held. So there are no images from Barcelona, except from pictures sent by journalists from the circuit. All the action on the circuit can be followed with the liveblog of GPblog.

Verstappen will be in action for Red Bull directly on Wednesday with his new car, and he'll take charge of the entire day as well. Sergio Perez doesn't get into the car until Tuesday. The same thing AlphaTauri does, there the first day is for Yuki Tsunoda. All other teams that have announced their schedule so far opt for splitting the day.
