De Meo: 'Paint the car white if Real Madrid becomes sponsor'

BWT has joined forces with Alpine for next season and that means that we at the French racing team will also see the pink of the new sponsor in the livery of the 2022 car. Luco de Meo, CEO of the Renault Group, makes no secret of this and jokes that Alpine would paint its car white if soccer club Real Madrid sponsored the team.

BWT was the Racing Point sponsor for many years and that car was all pink. It is not expected that Alpine will go that far, but it is certain that pink accents will be visible on the Alpine car this season. After all, the company transfers enough money to the formation from Viry.
