Verstappen takes pole again
With five wins in a row, Red Bull hopes to win again at Silverstone. During the first sprint race yesterday Verstappen took pole position from Lewis Hamilton, who had a bad start. The Dutchman managed to keep him out of the DRS range. Valtteri Bottas qualified in third place. Can Verstappen beat Hamilton on his home circuit or will the world champion come back?

Spin for Perez
The sprint race did not go as planned for Sergio Perez. He spun from fifth place and eventually retired. The Mexican will start from the pitlane. George Russell also has bad luck, because an incident with Carlos Sainz during the sprint race earned the Williams driver a grid penalty of three places.

A full crowd will fill the grandstands at Silverstone this weekend for the first time since the 2019 British Grand Prix. The three home favourites have had mixed weekends so far. Russell and Hamilton were both buzzing after Friday night qualifying. Hamilton sat on pole position for the sprint race whilst Russell reached Q3 for the second consecutive race weekend. But both lost ground in the sprint race.
After a tough week, Lando Norris is digging in well for McLaren. He'll be hoping for his 10th points finish out of 10 Grands Prix in Sunday's race.
