What are the times for the Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring?
- GPblog.com
Just like last season we will race twice at the Red Bull Ring in 2021. Last week Max Verstappen won the Styrian Grand Prix and this weekend the Dutchman will try again. Can the Red Bull Racing driver achieve his third consecutive victory in Formula 1?
There is a one hour time difference with Austria and we can sit in front of the television at the familiar times as the session are exactly the same as last week. The time schedule is the same, the track is the same, only softer compounds are used in Spielberg.
The first and second free practice sessions are again only one hour long and will start on Friday at respectively 10:30hrs and 14:00hrs. One day later, FP3 is scheduled. This last practice session starts at 11:00hrs, after which it is time for qualifying at 14:00hrs.
What time is the GP of Austria?
The points are of course only distributed in the race and for that you have to switch on at 14:00 sharp. This is when the lights will go out at the Red Bull Ring circuit. After about 100 minutes we will know whether Max Verstappen has won three consecutive victories in the premier class of motor sport for the first time in his career, Lewis Hamilton will bounce back from his drought, or someone else can spring a surprise and win.
Find out all on Sunday.
